The holiest place in any church building is not a stage, but the altar.
God's power and fire isn't just looking for just microphones or lights, but surrendered lives.
The altar is heaven's graveyard for the living.
And in this beautiful exchange our death and denial of self is where we truly find life.
We need more than inspiration, we need immolation.
Here ambition is laid on the chopping block.
Vanity and pride bleed out under the weight of surrender.
Dead to our flesh.
Dead to our own will.
Dead to dreams and ambitions we once clung to.
Here, at this sacred place, we offer the ashes of our plans in exchange for the fire of His presence.
We trade every fragment of who we are and
all we hope to be for the fullness of who He is.
This is where glory descends.
This is where our kingdoms fall and His kingdom comes.
May you never settle for less.
Romans 12:1-2
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—
his good, pleasing and perfect will."
